The incident took place at around 2:45 am today a distance of 600 meters from Allahabad Bank.
The robbers were first spotted by a local, at around 11:40 pm late yesterday night.
"I saw few people standing in front of the bank, following which I informed the bank manager. They were dressed as police officers standing in front of the bank . I am not sure if they are real cops or just disguised as cops with the intention of robbing a bank. Then the bank manager called some villagers to keep an eye on the bank to avoid any loot. While I was there, an accused person approached me and said they had come from the police station and told me to ask the villagers who had been summoned to the bank to return to their homes," he added.
The bodies of the three have been kept in the morgue of the RNB Civil Hospital in Kokrahar district.
