The Government is trying to imply a divide and rule policy: Akhil Gogoi

The angst against the citizenship bill hasn't yet dimmed. A mass protest was organized on 25th June at Makum Rajnikanth Bordoloi field of Tinsukia District by Krishak Mukti Sangam Samiti (KMSS) along with different organizations. Peasant leader, Akhil Gogoi addressed the throng slammed the BJP government for its efficiency, he downlooked the government stating that the party which rose to power on the plank that it would deport all the illegal immigrants is now making a gateway to them allowing them to enter the province even without passport. He expressed his rage saying that this government is just an expert in words, paying less heed to actions. He stated" This government only uses the emotional tactics rather than concrete actions ". He warned the people that the government's promise to help the self help groups is another facade of mask that the government has done to get in votes for the upcoming Panchayat Elections
