Pugilist Lovlina Borgohain Contributes Towards Assam Flood Relief

Guwahati, August 13, 2019:

Ace pugilist Lovlina Borgohain has contributed towards the Assam Chief Minister's relief fund here on Monday. The Assam pugilist Borgohain donated Rs. 15,000 towards the Assam chief minister’s relief fund. As per reports, the renowned pugilist met Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal at his residence and contributed the money.

Lovlina was born on 2 October 1997, and hails from the Golaghat district of Assam. She won a silver medal at the 2nd India Open International Boxing Tournament held in Guwahati.

Recently, Bogohain brought laurels to Assam and the country by winning a gold medal, her first in the international arena, at the Magomed Salam Umakjanov Memorial International Boxing Tournament in Russia’s Kaspiysk.
