Rainy weather casts gloom over parts of North-East India

Guwahati, April 7, 2019:

Heavy-to-moderate rains have lashed various parts of Assam as well as Northeast throughout the day as bad weather continues to play a spoilsport in North-East India.

The incessant rain, which began in the early hours of the morning on Sunday, has clogged up the streets in the city and traffic has also been inconvenienced by the incessant downpour.

Rain has been reported across various regions of the North-East including many towns in Assam to parts of Nagaland, Tripura, Meghalaya, among others, have been impacted by the inclement weather.

The weather department has forecast showers throughout the day.

It may be mentioned that inclement weather has been witnessed since the last two weeks in the North-East as the region continues to be ravaged by storm, winds, and rain.
