GUWAHATI: Two-wheeler taxi commuters of Guwahati faced a major problem since today morning as riders of the different bike services have called for an indefinite strike from Monday.

Two-wheeler drivers of Rapido, Uber, and Ola are staging a
protest against the high rate of commission taken by the management despite lowering the fares.

The drivers of the various organisations have also informed that there are no physical offices of Rapido, Uber, and Ola in Guwahati. While Uber and Ola have closed their offices around two months back, Rapido has also done the same about a month ago, making it difficult for associates and drivers to talk to the management directly.

It was also informed that from 15th December, the four-wheeler drivers are to join forces for a protest until their demands are met.
