RETIRED ARMY JAWAN SHOT DEAD IN NAGAON

Guwahati, October 22, 2018:

A retired Army jawan was shot dead by unidentified miscreants at Nonoi in Nagaon district of Assam this evening.

The deceased, identified as Dwipen Nath died at the spot.

The miscreants barged into the house of Nath and fired several rounds at him. They soon escaped on their motorcycle they had come.

Though Nath was rushed to a nearby hospital, he was declared brought dead by the doctors.

The reason behind the murder is yet to be ascertained. Police is investigating the case and trying for clues into the case.
