Guwahati, May 16, 2019:

At the time when the state and the country is boiling their blood due to unemployment, a youth has been outcast from the society in Biswanath Chariali by the Afrakhat unit of the Srimanta Sankaradeva Sangha for running a broiler farm and a piggery business at their home in Ghahigaon.

The youth, Balendra Nath and his family has been banned from attending any kind of social functions.

In a notification issued by the Afrakhat unit of the Sangha, a decision was taken by the Madhya Chaiduar Anchalik Branch to bar the members of the Sangha, who runs broiler farm or a piggery in their houses.

The incident has led to widespread criticisms on social media platforms and among the youth.
