Secondary education board of Assam (SEBA) on Wednesday declared the results during the early part of the day.
With a total pass percentage of 60.23%, the HSLC exams 2018-19 were held across 857 centres.
A comparative study of the district wise results says that Dhemaji district of Assam performed the best with a pass percentage of 83.28% to become the most successful district of the state in terms of academics.
On the other hand, Hailakandi district of Assam is registered the poorest results with a pass percentage of only 39.01%.
"We will take extra care for the students of Hailakandi", Siddhartha Bhattacharya, Education minister of Assam stated in a press conference in Guwahati on Wednesday, showing his concern.
It may be mentioned that the other districts of Assam have all been able to showcase bright results.
Nagaon district scored a pass percentage of 66.35%. Bongaigoan scored a total of 58.09%, while Baksa scored a total of 63.77%, whereas Chirang scored a total of 43.69%.
Meanwhile, Cachar scored a total of 50.29%, Dhubri registered a pass percentage of 57.35%. Darrang scores a total of 67.93%, Dhemaji scores 83.28%, Dibrugarh registered a pass percentage 56.89%, and Goalpara scores a total of 51.89%. Golaghat, meanwhile, scored a total of 58.60%. Jorhat scored a total of 65.16%.
Kamrup (R) scored a total of 68.66%, while Karbi Anglong scores 49.09%, and Karimganj scored 46.73%.
Kokrajhar scored 56.22%, while Lakhimpur scored a total of 68.64.
Morigoan scores a total of 63.53%. Nagaon scored a total of 56.34%. Nalbari scored 70.08%. DimaHasao scored 57.79%. Sivasagar registered with a total of 70.02. Sonitpur scores around 56.75. Tinisukia scored 55.22.
Udalguri registered with a total of 53.38 and lastly Kamrup(M) scores a total of 69.31.
HSLC results are declared on Wednesday have a total of 5522 students with distinction marks.
It may also be notified that, 11326 students have scored star marks in the declared HSLC results of 2019.
Further it has been registered that, 289 schools of Assam have scored the least percentage from 0% to 9%.
Meanwhile, only 37 government schools are registered in the list schools with the least percentage of passouts.
