Second Judima Bishu festival held in Karbi Anglong

Guwahati, January 31:

The Dimasa community celebrated the 2nd Judima Bishu Festival at Donsuri Higher secondary play ground on Thursday.

The programme was chaired by Pradip Diphusa EM KAAC. Tuliram Ronghang, CEM KAAC, attended the occasion as its Chief Guest. The festival is "Dimasa Tribals' Traditional Brew". Through KAAC, Rs 2 Lakhs for Judima Bishu Festival will be included from next year's budget to  preserve, promote and nurture ethnic cultures, music, dance, craft and folk-art of the Dimasa people.

Various EMs of the Mising Autonomous Council were also present.

Inauguration of open Stage was being done by Hon'ble CEM KAAC at Donsuri Playground.
