SEXUAL HARASSMENT SLUR ON SCHOOL TEACHER

Cases of rape and sexual harassment has been on the rise in Assam.

A complaint has been lodged against a teacher in Hailakandi for sexually harassing a student. The accused identified as Sayed Hussain Majumdar had been sexually harassing the victim who is a class 10 student.

Unable to tolerate it any more, the victim informed her parents about the abhorrent act following which they immediately approached the police and lodged a complaint against the accused.

Police has started their probe on the matter but the accused has been absconding.
