Guwahati’s prestigious Saint Mary s’Higher Secondary school has been able to showcase bright results.

With 39 candidates, have been able to secure a place within the 10 ranks the Christian missionary schools of Assam have dominated the result tally.

Three candidates from the school have ranked position in the top ten list. Pratyasha Medhi from the school secured 2nd Rank with a total of 593 marks.

Meanwhile, Anushree Bhuyan, secured 3rd rank with 591 marks and Christie saikia secured 590 marks in the 4th position.

It may also be mentioned that the rank holders have expressed a desire to serve the society by pursuing studies in the medical field.

Saint Marys’ is known for its excellent records in academics.

The total pass percentage of the overall HSLC results in 2018-19 was 60.23% with a hike of almost 4% from the academic year of 2017-18. 62.69% were female and 57.99% were female.

A total of 3,36,203 students appeared in the HSLC exams 2018-19 and 2,02,508 students passed.

Assam board has declared the HSLC result in the early hours of the day on Wednesday.
