We stand by the people of Assam: ULFA-I

Guwahati, January 10, 2019:

The United Liberation Front of Asom- Independent (ULFA-I) has issued a press statement that the rebel outfit strongly opposes the government’s decision to pass controversial Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016 and amend it.

In the statement, it was added that the ULFA-I’s silence does not support the Bill but the ULFA-I is rather having discussions with the government and trying to oppose the Bill to its best.

It further stated that the protests carried out by the different organizations have full support of the ULFA-I since the past and we will also support in the future.
