Student Electrocuted to Death in Assam’s West Kamrup

Guwahati, August 25, 2019:

In a truly shocking development, a student was electrocuted to death at Hatimara in Goroimari of Assam's West Kamrup district on Sunday.

The deceased student has been identified as Sanidul Islam, aged 24 years. Islam was a 1st-semester student pursuing LLM.

Islam was electrocuted while carrying out some electric repairs work at his house. He was rushed to the nearby Goroimari Public Health Centre in West Kamrup, however, the doctor declared him to be dead on arrival.
