Diphu, September 25, 2019:

Student and youth organizations of Karbi Anglong have demanded the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) to conduct of Special TET exams for local candidates of the two hill districts -- Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong.

In a joint press conference convened here at the Karbi Students' Association (KSA) office, Rongthe-ang, the KSA president, Simeon Rongphar told media persons that they have met CEM Tuliram Ronghang demanding the immediate conduct of Special TET in the districts.

“The leaders of various student, youth and women organizations have met CEM, Tuliram Ronghang at his official chamber at KAAC Secretariat here on Wednesday and strongly demanded that a Special TET for local candidates of Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong be conducted by KAAC. On his part, the CEM has also given us his assurance for immediate conduct of Special TET,” Rongphar informed.
