Suspected Brown Sugar Recovered in Assam’s Ledo

Lidu, September 8, 2019:

Ledo police seized suspected brown sugar from Tirap Kaliyari of Ledo and arrested two persons in relation to the case.

The accused drug peddlers have been identified as Jontu Ghosh alias Kola and Zakir Hussain alias Babul.

The police seized 33.7 grams of suspected brown sugar from their possession, along with two mobile phones, one digital weighing machine, and one Bajaj Pulsar bike.

It is to be mentioned that in Margherita, the trafficking of brown sugar has been increasing day by day, as per official sources.
