Suspected ULFA linkman apprehended in Tinsukia

Guwahati, January 17, 2019:

In yet another ULFA-related incident in Tinsukia district’s Pengeri, the coordinated efforts of the police and the army led to the capture of a suspected ULFA linkman.

The suspect has been identified as Pradip Bhumij.

Authorities have recovered a pistol and four bullets from the suspect.

It is to be mentioned that two had been killed in an ULFA(I) attack at Bijuliban village near Pengeri back in 2015.
