Suspected ULFA(I) cadre apprehended in Assam’s Tinsukia

Tripura, April 24, 2019:

Based on specific inputs, the Indian Army apprehended a suspected United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) cadre on April 24th, 2019 from Khonsa in Tirap district in Arunachal Pradesh.

The apprehended cadre has been identified as Mridul Mahanta alias Nibir Asom.

Mridul Mahanta alias Nibir Asom hails from Kordoiguri in Doomdooma of Tinsukia district.
