Three National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) cadres were arrested in a joint operation in Assam’s Chirang district.
A joint operation was launched by Assam Police and Security Forces on Monday in Chirang Reserve Forest along the Bhutan border on receiving inputs about the movement of the NDFB cadres.

The team comprising the Indian Army, COBRA, and Chirang police, during the search operation apprehended Naren Basumatary, Dwhwo Daimary and Sayaram. All three are residents from Chirang district, as per reports. The three were arrested along with weapons and ammunition.
It may be mentioned here that on Thursday, the security forces along with the police nabbed an NDFB cadre in Chirang district of Assam.
