'Traffic hero' Mithun Das felicitated by Police Commissioner Deepak Kumar

The traffic police constable, Mithun Das has been felicitated by Commissioner of Police, Guwahati, Deepak Kumar for his dedication towards his duty.

Mithun Das who is a constable of Assam Police on Sunday stood still during heavy rain without a raincoat in an uncovered traffic point that was damaged during a truck accident a week ago.

This incident was captured by passing commuters and Das was propelled to instant internet stardom as he was lauded by social media for his dedication towards his duty.
