ULFA-I Flag issue | 15 suspected Linkmen arrested in Guwahati

Guwahati, November 29, 2018:

The Assan Police have arrested 15 suspected United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) linkmen from various locations of the city on Thursday for their alleged involvement in the flag issue.

It may be mentioned that on Wednesday, unidentified persons hoisted several ULFA-I flags in several locations in Assam.

Police said that 15 suspect ULFA-I linkmen were picked up from various locations of the state and have been detained in various police stations. There are being interrogated by the police to figure out their involvement in the flag issue.

The flags were allegedly hoisted on the occasion of ULFA-I’s Protest Day.

It may be mentioned that over the past few days, the activities of ULFA-I has increased a lot.
