NALBARI: An unidentified body has been recovered in a paddy field in Assam's Nalbari district today.
According to sources, the body of the unidentified man was first spotted by the locals around 9 am this morning in a paddy field in Voirar Chomukha village under the Singimari Out Post under Belsore Police Station, in Nalbari.
The locals could not identify the deceased man due to a heavy amount of froth-like substance on his face.
However, they have suspected that he was killed by some unidentified miscreants and dumped in the paddy field.

On receiving information about the recovery of the unidentified body a police team from the Belsore Police Station rushed to the spot for further investigation.
Significantly, the deceased is yet to be identified.
The body has now been sent for post-mortem examination and an investigation on the matter has been initiated by the police.
