Unknown Caller threatens to Kill Assam BJP MLA Numal Momin

Guwahati, November 9, 2018:

An unknown person threatened Assam BJP MLA, Numal Momin, on the phone on Friday morning.

Momin told reporters, “On Friday morning I received a call from an unknown number. When I took the call, the caller threatened me by saying that he will kill me after one week”.

He added, “The person then repeatedly called me from 4:45 am to 4:50 am. He told me that he is from the USA but did not mention his name. He kept on telling me that I am a big leader of the BJP in Assam and he will take action against me”.

Later, Momin filed an FIR with Dispur Police Station. An investigation is on, the police said.
