The wait of over 12 lakh students is finally over as CBSE (The Central Board of Secondary Education) has announced the Class 12 results on Board's official portal on July 13th, 2020.

Like previous years, the Board has declared the class 12 results for Arts, Commerce and Science streams on the same day. Students can check their CBSE class 12 results from the official website of the Board — cbse.nic.in.

A total of 12,06,893 students had registered for the examination which includes 5,22,819 girls and 6,84,068 boys and 6 transgender students.

It may be mentioned that due to the COVID-19 outbreak and subsequent lockdown in the country, the CBSE had to postpone some exams and later decided to resume on July 1st, 2020, which were later cancelled due to the massive spike in coronavirus cases in the country.

The Central government on June 25th, 2020, told the Supreme Court that the students of class 12, who wish to appear for examination will be given an option for the same.

In 2019, the CBSE had declared the class 12 results on May 2nd, 2020. Of 12,05,484 students, 10,05,427 had qualified the examination. The overall pass percentage of was 83.40 percent, which was slightly higher than 2018.
