We will send 500 youths from BTC in case of Indo-Pak war: Hagrama Mohilary

Guwahati, February 16, 2019:

Visiting the martyr Maneswar Basumatary’s family at Tamulpur on Saturday, Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Chief, Hagrama Mohilary announced that the BTC will send five hundred Bodo youths to Kashmir if a war breaks out between India and Pakistan.

Hagrama Mohilary also announced a sum of Rs 5 lakh ex-gratia to the kin of martyr Maneswar Basumatary.

The BTC Chief also added, “If Central government declares war against Pakistan, we will send 500 Bodo youths to Kashmir and also pay the salaries of those 500 youths."

The mortal remains of the martyr of Assam will be taken to his residence in Tamulpur located in Assam's Baksa district.
