WOULD WRITE TO THE PARLIAMENTARY BOARD IF SHILADITYA DEV DOES NOT RESTRAIN FROM MAKING CONTROVERSIAL STATEMENTS: RANJEET KUMAR DASS

Guwahati, October 30, 2018:

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Assam Pradesh leadership has asked Hojai legislator Shiladitya Dev to restrain from making controversial statements, especially on issues related to the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016.

Talking to the media on the sidelines of a programme in Tinsukia, BJP state president Ranjeet Kumar Dass said that if Shiladitya Dev does not restrain from making controversial statements in future, than the BJP leadership would be bound to write to the parliamentary committee.

It may be mentioned that Shiladitya Dev has been passing provocative and communal comments time and again which had led to many controversies.
