Youth from Mangaldoi invents steam engine vehicle

Guwahati, February 8, 2019:

A 21-year-old youth named Prasanna Deka from Ghatowapara in Mangaldoi of Assam has invented a steam engine vehicle named H2O after failing for 55 attempts.

Prasanna is a BA second semester student completed the invention in six months with an investment of Rs 85 thousand which his mother landed from a local loan providing scheme. Besides studies, Prasanna works as a part-time worker in the college canteen to earn for his dream project.

However, the project needs more work for better finishing which has been put on hold due to lack of funds.

This invention by the youth has not only created a sensation among the youth but has also built scopes for the state to work on such projects that can reduce pollution and cut the expense of fuel in day-to-day life.
