Two separate tragic incidents have resulted in the loss of two lives, casting a pall of sorrow over Boko area.
The first incident occurred in Jongakhuli, where 33-year-old Gunjit Boro was electrocuted while attempting to fix an electrical fault in a fan.
Despite being rushed to Boko Primary Health Center, he was declared dead upon arrival.
The second incident unfolded in Tinigharia village, where a group of youths went for a swim in the Soneswari River.
Among them, 16-year-old Abhijit Boro suddenly drowned. Following the distressing event, villagers contacted the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF). After an extensive search, the SDRF recovered Abhijit's body.
A resident of Mugakhol village, Abhijit had recently completed his high school examinations. His untimely death has deeply affected the local community, enveloping the area in mourning.
