The people of Dhubri district were left shocked by the unexpected actions of AIUDF MLA Shamsul Huda of East Bilasipara during a foundation stone laying ceremony for an RCC bridge at Daikhowa Market in Bilasipara.
The incident, which took place on Tuesday, has sparked widespread reactions across the region. According to eyewitnesses, MLA Huda arrived at the event and became visibly agitated upon noticing a small banana tree placed at the site.
In a surprising turn of events, Huda allegedly picked up the banana tree and subsequently got involved in an altercation with the staff of contractor Avinash Agarwal, who was awarded the contract for the bridge's construction.

Reports suggest that the MLA reprimanded the employees of Avinash Agarwal, which led to a scuffle. Avinash Agarwal’s staff allegedly retaliated and physically assaulted by the MLA, further escalating the situation.
