Assam: Bodies of two missing students found with throats slit in Tangla

The bodies of two students who went missing on Friday, December 20 after leaving for school were found on Saturday, December 21 in Santopara, Tangla. 

The victims, Gaurav Sharma, aged 12, and Kaushik Sharma, aged 14, were students of Tangla Kendriya Jatiya Vidyalaya and residents of Jorpukhuri, Tangla. The sons of Mahendra Sharma, a driver, and Geeta Sharma, the boys disappeared under mysterious circumstances, prompting an intensive search by family and locals.  

The tragic recovery revealed signs of foul play, with both students found with their throats slit. The crime scene, located a mere three kilometers from their residence, has raised serious concerns about safety in the area.  

The motive behind the gruesome act remains unknown. Authorities have launched an in-depth investigation to uncover the perpetrators and the reasons behind the horrific killings.  

This tragic incident has sparked widespread grief and outrage, with locals demanding swift justice for the young victims. As the investigation progresses, the community awaits answers to this deeply unsettling case.
