Assam: BTC distributes scooties, bicycles, and cash awards to students in Kokrajhar

Bodoland Territorial Council Chief Executive Member Pramod Boro on Friday ceremonially distributed scooties, bicycles, and cash awards under various educational schemes at a program held at Green Field, Kokrajhar.

As part of the Chief Minister’s Special Scheme, 11,504 bicycles were distributed to Class IX students to support their education. Under the Banikanta Kakati Merit Award, 373 scooties were awarded to meritorious students, while 365 students received cash prizes through the Anundoram Borooah Merit Scholarship Award.

The event was attended by MLAs Lawrence Islary and Jiron Basumatary, BTC Executive Members Sajal Singh and Wilson Hasda, along with other senior officials of the Kokrajhar district administration.
