Assam: CIT Kokrajhar hosts ICTCon, highlighting research and industry collaboration

Central Institute of Technology (CIT) Kokrajhar hosted the Intelligent Computing and Technology Conference (ICTCon 2024), drawing significant attention from academic and industrial sectors.

The conference received 105 research paper submissions from prestigious institutions including IIT, NITs, and Central Universities, with only 37 papers selected for presentation. These chosen papers will be published in Springer's Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series, highlighting the event's stringent academic standards.

Key regional leaders, including Pramod Boro, Chief Executive Member of Bodoland Territorial Region, and executives from IOCL and NTPC, emphasised the critical role of academia-industry collaboration in technological advancement.

Focusing on cutting-edge domains like artificial intelligence, healthcare technologies, and language preservation, ICTCon 2024 positioned the Bodoland Territorial Region as an emerging hub for technological research and innovation.
