Assam: Speeding truck crushes man to death on National Highway in Kaliabar

A bicycle borne man was killed on the National Highway in Assam's Kaliabar after a speeding truck crushed him to death. 

The incident happened at Balibat where the deceased identified as Bihuram Bora was killed after a speeding dumper carring stones crushed him to death. 

Soon sensation prevailed in the area as locals raised questions on the unabated speedy movement of trucks and other heavy vehicles in the area. 

Police soon reached the spot and recovered the body and sent it for post mortem. The truck which crushed the victim to death has also been seized in the meantime. However, it is not clear if any arrest has been made in this regard.
