Assam: Tense situation at Falcon festival after crowd try to break-in after failing to pay for tickets

A tense situation prevailed at Falcon Festival in Umrangso under Dima Hasao, Assam after unruly crowd tried to barge inside the venue, while attempting to break-in for failing to pay the ticket price.

As per sources, a huge crowd had gathered outside the venue as many were unable to pay Rs 1000, the ticket price to attend the festival. Soon, the crowd swelled and tried to break-in. 

A team of police led by SP ordered the organisers to open the gate so as to control the unruly crowd. The gates were then opened for the crowd to enter with people allowed without tickets.
