A young man from Chatrang Lalpani village in Assam's Gohpur has been missing for ten days, causing deep distress to his family. Niran Guala, who left home on January 19 in search of work in Bangalore, has not been heard from since January 22, when he reportedly got off a train at Vijayawada railway station in Andhra Pradesh.
According to family sources, Niran informed them over the phone that he had alighted at Vijayawada station to have a meal. However, his phone ran out of charge shortly after, leaving him unable to call again. The phone has been switched off since then, leaving his family in anguish.
His family, devastated by his disappearance, has lodged a formal complaint at the Gohpur police station. Niran’s mother has made an emotional appeal for help, pleading with anyone who may have information about her only son's whereabouts to come forward.
The family has shared two contact numbers, 6900168764 and 8438572445, for anyone who might have spotted Niran or can provide information.
As the days pass, the family remains in turmoil, hoping for any news about Niran’s safety. The incident has sparked concern in the local community as well, with many joining the family's efforts to locate him.
