The District Health Services of Assam's Kokrajhar launched a 100-day intensified campaign to eliminate Tuberculosis.
The campaign is part of the Government of India’s National Tuberculosis Elimination Program, which aims to achieve a TB-free country by 2025.
As part of this effort, the Kokrajhar district health services have introduced a special awareness-driving ambulance, designed to reach out to the public and spread crucial information about TB prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
The initiative aims to educate people on the importance of early detection and treatment, as well as to reduce the stigma surrounding the disease.
Through this campaign, the district health authorities are encouraging communities to participate actively in the fight against tuberculosis, aiming for a healthier and TB-free future for Kokrajhar and beyond.
