Assam cabinet minister Pijush Hazarika has targeted Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) chief Bhupen Borah will lose the elections for a fourth consecutive time.
Targeting the Assam Congress president, Hazarika said that Bhupen Borah will lose the elections, no matter where he contests from. He further said that the BJP is sure to win atleast twelve seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, while the Congress and the AIUDF will be left with jsut one seat each.
"Bhupen Borah will lose the elections no matter where he contests from. He will lose consecutively for the fourth time and create a record. We shall win the Kaziranga seat by 3 lakh votes. Congress will win just one constituency. And AIUDF may also win one seat as well. Both Congress and AIUDF will win or lose just the two constituencies. Rest of the twelve seats will be won by us. The Chief Minister is saying that it is confirmed in eleven seats. In one seat, we are going by 50 per cent. We will cover the remaining 50 per cent as well and win twelve seats," said Hazarika.
