Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi slammed the BJP-led government at the Centre for allegedly stifling dissent and neglecting pressing national issues.
Gogoi highlighted the case of former Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, who had been vocal about farmers' demands, including the legalization of the Minimum Support Price (MSP).

According to Gogoi, Channi's efforts to address these concerns were systematically obstructed by the BJP government, with three ministers reportedly intervening to disrupt his speech.
Gogoi accused the BJP of maintaining an arrogant stance towards the agricultural community and failing to engage constructively with their concerns.
