Assam Chief Minister and BJP co-in-charge for the Jharkhand elections, Himanta Biswa Sarma has expressed confidence in the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) prospects in the upcoming state elections. Speaking to the media, Sarma highlighted the growing enthusiasm among the people of Jharkhand, particularly in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"We have spent the last four months in Jharkhand, and the response has been overwhelming. People are excited about the possibility of a double-engine government that will bring significant development to the state," Sarma stated. He emphasized that the primary focus of the election was to ensure that the aspirations and ambitions of the people, especially the youth and women, are fulfilled.
The Assam CM further pointed out that there is a strong desire for action against infiltrators and for a government that will deliver on the promises made to the people. "Our campaign has been effective, and I believe our party, workers, and allies have worked together as a unified team. I am confident that the NDA will form a government with a full majority," he concluded.
