In the wee hours of May 6 morning, a major fire erupted at Lumding's Hurlongfar in Assam, causing extensive damage to several business establishments.
The blaze engulfed five business establishments, leaving them gutted by the flames. Despite efforts to determine the cause of the fire, it remains unknown at this time. However, there is speculation among residents that a gas cylinder explosion may have triggered the inferno.
Prompt action was taken by the fire brigade and members of the public to combat the flames and prevent further spread of the fire. Their combined efforts ultimately succeeded in extinguishing the blaze, averting potential further damage and harm.
Meanwhile, a probe has been initiated to ascertain the reason behind the major blaze.
