COVID-19 kills 12 more in Nagaland within 24 hours

DIMAPUR: Nagaland recorded 12 Covid-19 deaths and 192 positive cases today, Health and Family Welfare Minister S Pangnyu Phom said.

Among the new cases, Dimapur recorded 80, Kohima and Mokokchung 33 each, Zunheboto 12, Mon 11, Phek 7, Wokha 6, Kiphire, Peren and Tuensang 3 each and Longleng 1.

Phom said 109 positive patients – Dimapur 77, Phek 17, Kohima 10, Kiphire 3 and Mokokchung and Mon 1 each – recovered during the day.

The state’s total caseload stood at 21,563 and active cases at 5050.

A total of 15,523 recovered from the infection so far.

Phom said while there were 12 other deaths and 628 people migrated from the State.
