2 Mizo brothers drown in dam while taking bath; bodies retrieved

AIZAWL: In a tragic incident, two brothers met their end while taking bath in "Serlui B" Dam in Bilkhawthlir area of Mizoram's Kolasib district.
The deceased have been identified as 12-years-old Lalnunfela and 14-years-old Rodinsanga.
As per reports, the two brothers had gone to the dam area to meet their father who is working in the P&E department and stationed there.

The mishap reportedly occurred when the two brothers were taking bath along with their 6-years-old cousin in a corner of the dam.
Lalnunfela was soon swept away by the water and drowned. His brother Rodinsanga also drowned along with his brother when he tried to save him.
The bodies were recovered later and a burial ceremony is to be held tomorrow, reports said.
