New Delhi: Days after boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor recovered from the disease, actress Alia Bhatt has tested positive for COVID-19.
The actress shared the information through her Instagram story.
Late yesterday in a statement, she wrote saying, “Hello all, I have tested positive for COVID-19. I have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I am following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors."
She also thanked concerned fans d support.

"Grateful for all your love and support. Please stay safe and take care," she added.
Ranbir Kapoor, her boyfriend recently tested positive for coronavirus. He has recovered fully and tested negative for the virus.
Paresh Rawal, Kartik Aaryan, and Rohit Saraf have recently tested positive for Covid-19. Previously, the virus affected actors Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, and others.
Alia is currently working on a variety of projects. The first film she will appear in is Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi, in which she will play a brothel owner. The film is expected to be released on July 30 and will compete with Prabhas' Radhe Shyam.
She is also working on Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy and is the first instalment of Ayan's ambitious fantasy trilogy. Owing to extensive VFX work in the post-production stage, the film's release has been delayed several times.
