ARUNACHAL PRADESH: TV SETS DISTRIBUTED TO GAON BURAHS IN THE STATE

In a formal programme held at Ruksin today, 37^th Pasighat West MLA cum Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture & Fisheries, Er. Tatung Jamoh distributed LCD Television sets to total of 94 Gaon Burah of Ruksin Sub-Division in the presence of ADC Ruksin, T. Pada, CO Bilat, Ocean Gao, BDO Ruksin, Vijay Tamuk, BJP Mandal President, Ono Panggeng, V/President, Tageng Nyitan, State Kisan Morcha Treasurer, Ojing Aje, Taker Panyang,Tajom Mibang and others.

While distributing the TV sets to GBs, Jamoh said that GBs in the villages also need to keep themselves updated about the happens all around the state and the nation through televisions. He also said that, GBs being the basic role players in management of villages at village level need to be very sincere and unbiased while delivering kebang decisions. He also urged the GBs to be the true torch bearer of democracy and upkeep the sanctity of GB and kebang institutions of Adi society which has been coming from time immemorial.

Meanwhile, GBs of the Ruksin Sub-Division has also expressed their thankfulness to Pema Khandu, Chief Minister of the state as well as local MLA Er. Tatung Jamoh for providing the TV sets. “We are happy with the present government’s good governance and also hopeful that, CM will look after the basic requirements of the GBs”, said the GBs while receiving the TV set.
