Sanskar Bharati Arunachal Pradesh (SBAP) celebrated its 15th foundation day at Dorjee Khandu Convention Centre, IG Park here with a colourful cultural programme marking the ceremony on Tuesday.
On the occasion, SBAP presented an ‘award of honour’ to renowned singer Bengia Hemanta for his outstanding contribution in the field of art and culture of Arunachal Pradesh.
Speaking as chief guest on the occasion, Parliamentary Secretary Er Tage Taki appreciated Sanskar Bharati for promotion of cultural heritage of the state and country as a whole while providing platform to budding artistes of our society.

The main attraction of the event was a cultural show, presented by artistes of SBAP, and students from Hornbill School, Nrityangan Dance & Music Academy, C-Sector Middle School, Kargu Gamgi and Yamek Mije Taggu Group (all Itanagar based) and Karpuk Karduk Music Academy, Pasighat.Bengia Hemanta, national award winning artist Delong Padung and Yapi Kodak among others attended.
