ASSAM: MAHILA SAMAROH 2018 HELD IN MIRZA

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Health & Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Education Minister Siddhartha Bhatacharya, Panchayat and Rural development minister Naba Kumar Doloi, MP Guwahati Constituency Bijaya Chakrawarty, Irrigation Minister Bhabesh Kalita took part in the meeting of 'Mahila Samaroh 2018' of 'Kanaklata Mahila Sabalikaran Yojanaon' on Women Empowerment at R B HIGH SECONDARY SCHOOL, Mirza in Kamrup (Rural) district of Assam which is organized by Assam State Panchayat and Rural development department. Kanaklata Mahila Sabalikaran Achoni is a flagship scheme of Assam Government to pave the way for generating sustainable livelihood for the women in Assam.

Speaking on the occasion Health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that 19 cancer hospitals will be opened in the state and to make NRC successful he requested all the organisations to work hardly.

Further he said that Kanaklata Mahila Sabalikaran Yojna will be given more power to Assam’s women.
