ASSAM: TORCH-LIT PROTEST IN TINSUKIA DISTRICT

The people of the Panitola area of Tinsukia District held a torch-lit rally on 30th April. They held the rally to protest against the menace caused by gambling, consumption of illegal toxicants, cattle raiding and oil raiding circle. The grand rally was raised by Matak Yuba Chatra Parishad,  Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Parishad and many other organizations in cooperation of the local people.They expressed their grievances against the inability of the administration to put an end to the nuisance. The rally was lead to the Police Station. They chanted slogans demanding their needs to be fulfilled at the  37 National Highway.
