Ayodhya Land Dispute: Judges Arrive at Supreme Court to Give Verdict

Ayodhya, November 9, 2019:

The five-Judge Supreme Court bench will deliver the verdict regarding the Ram Janambhumi-Babri Masjib land dispute in Ayodhya today at 10:30 am. Meanwhile, the five Judges have reached the Supreme Court to give the long-awaited verdict.

Meanwhile, as the Government has issued a warning ahead of the verdict, with the schools in Uttar Pradesh closed down, there is much speculation about the safety measures in the area.

Taking to mediapersons, Ayodhya District Magistrate, Anuj Kumar Jha has said "Keeping the disputed site safe is our priority, we have made adequate arrangements for it, forces have been deployed in the city. Everything is normal in the city, we will keep an eye on negative elements."

Meanwhile, a large number of lawyers have gathered outside Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi's court in anticipation for the verdict.

Meanwhile, Bihar Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar, has said that the Supreme Court's verdict should be accepted by everyone. "There should be no dispute over it. We appeal to everyone to not create a negative environment, cordiality should be maintained", he said.

A five-judge Constitution Bench, that was set up on January 8, 2019, heard the case for over 40 days from August to October.
