Bobby Deol predicted COVID-19 in ‘90s; advised safety norms

GUWAHATI: A latest video clip of Bollywood actor Bobby Deol’s movie of the ‘90s where the actor is seen adhering to all COVID-19 guidelines at a time when people didn't even dream about such a pandemic, has taken the internet by storm.

In the hilarious video, Bobby Deol can be seen performing COVID tests on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan or washing hands repeatedly, or wearing masks, and seems to be propagating the precautionary measures.

The video opens with Bobby Deol saying that he can see things what others cannot see. Following that is a scene from the film ‘Dillagi’ in which he tells Sunny Deol to maintain social distance lest he gets sick as well.

He then sticks a Q-tip up Aishwarya Rai's nose, as if for an RT-PCR check.

It's accompanied by clips from Bobby Deol's other films, in which he dons a face mask, washes his hands, and even locks his door to keep the virus at bay.

The video was posted by a meme page Bollywoodunderworldposting on Instagram. It posted the video and captioned it “Lord Bobby predicted COVID-19 and told us to follow the safety precautions.”

Fans praised ‘Lord Bobby' and his prophecy in the video, which received a hilarious response.

Moreover, talking about his recent career choices, Deol said as he has been away for a while, the younger generation was unfamiliar with him. So he has the chance to open over and create a new identity for himself as an actor who can play a variety of roles.
