MUMBAI: The Bombay High Court today granted bail to Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan in Mumbai cruise drug bust case.
According to Bar and Bench, court's detailed order will be given tomorrow including operative part.
During the hearing, Additional Solicitor General of India (ASG) Anil Singh, who is representing the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) pointed out that Aryan was found in ‘conscious possession’ of contraband.
"Aryan Khan is a regular consumer of drugs. There is evidence to prove that he has been providing drugs," Singh said.
Khan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on October 3.
The 23-year-old has been booked under various sections of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS) for possession and consumption of banned substances. He and five others are currently in the general barracks of Mumbai’s Arthur Road prison.
