Copenhagen: The Danish football star Christian Eriksen, who fainted on the pitch during his country's opening Euro 2020 match posted picture with message in Instagram on Tuesday.
He wrote with a photo of himself smiling and giving a thumbs-up while lying in bed, “Hello everyone Big thanks for your sweet and amazing greetings and messages from all around the world. It means a lot to me and my family. I'm fine - under the circumstances. I still have to go through some examinations at the hospital, but I feel okay. Now, I will cheer on the boys on the Denmark team in the next matches. Play for all of Denmark 🇩🇰”.

The 29-year-old Inter Milan midfielder suddenly fainted on the field in the 43rd minute of Denmark's Group B encounter against Finland in Copenhagen on Saturday, shocking the sporting world and beyond.
Medical staff performed CPR on him while he lay motionless on the field for around 15 minutes before he was dragged off and sent to the hospital.
It was later determined that he had died of heart arrest.
